ELC Urges New York to Honor CFE Promise
Sparked by advocacy on behalf of New York school children hurt by funding cuts in recent years, the Legislature just concluded its 2012 session with the first increase in pre-K-12 education funding in three years. ELC Executive Director, David Sciarra, urged the State to honor its promises to remedy its constitutional violation, declared by the courts in CFE v. State.
